AIAP is the industry partner of the Department of Trade and Industry - Board of Investments in the development of the aerospace sector for the inclusive growth program of the national government.

Who we are

An industry association built by its members

The Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP) was incorporated on August 1, 2012 under SEC No. CN 2012314332.

It is composed of 71 companies and institutions involved in aerospace parts manufacturing and assemblies, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of commercial aircraft, aviation schools, logistics providers, suppliers and subcontractors, and related government agencies - to grow and develop the aerospace manufacturing industry of the Philippines and realize its vision of becoming a major aerospace manufacturing hub in ASEAN and a major player in the global aerospace manufacturing industry.

Our direction

4 major thrusts of the association

1.0

To support growth and development in building capacity and capabilities among the various Tier levels of manufacturing.

2.0

Achieve total supply chain integration to support Tier 1s, and the local supply chain.

To influence the existing training and educational systems to support the necessary skills requirements and ensure steady supply of quality manpower and talents worthy of adherence to exacting quality and systems discipline of aerospace standards.

To establish effective liaison with government bodies, to influence continuous improvements in various policies and business processes to make the business environment more attractive to local and foreign investments.

Mission

  • To be the leading organization, enabling partnerships and serving as collective voice of the stakeholders, in promoting growth and development of the Philippine aerospace industry.
  • Promote and establish business collaboration and integration to support competitiveness in product cost, quality and delivery.
  • Promote a culture of excellence in manufacturing through technical competence in manpower, advanced manufacturing technologies, and advanced quality systems.
  • Serve as liaison of the memberships in influencing government policies and development programs: partnering with government and established institutions to revitalize and elevate the state of Philippine aerospace industry.
